Position Overview
This position’s primary focus will be to expand the reach of Profitable PR Pros by creating, curating, repurposing, and sharing engaging content for our audiences through social media. The main goal for social media is to develop new or repurpose our existing core content to attract and engage our ideal audience of PR professionals so that they become raving fans and customers.
We are looking for a part-time social media coordinator who will strategize, manage, and oversee all organic marketing efforts across our social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube. You will be taking direction from and working alongside the Marketing Director to ensure that all social media efforts are coinciding with any launches/promotional periods and are in line with the company’s long-term vision.
You will also serve as the social strategist for Jeneration PR, a subcontracting role that includes supporting some of our public relations clients with their social media strategy, execution, and channel management.

Hourly Rate = We are flexible on this, depending on your level of experience. Please include your hourly rate in the application.

Role and Responsibilities
Our Social Media Coordinator will primarily be responsible for:
- Social Media Brand Management: Acting as the brand voice for Profitable PR Pros across all social media platforms by developing and executing a regular posting strategy, including creating and/or repurposing engaging content that establishes our presence as an authority, such as blog posts, videos, graphics, etc. You will be writing all of the social media copy and will manage the creation of any graphics needed by designing them yourself or directing our graphics team.
- Social Media Growth: Setting goals for and then developing and executing strategic plans to grow our social media platforms, both in customer engagement (comments, dialogue, sharing) and the numeric value (number of followers, friends, subscribers).
- Campaign Creation: Partner with our Marketing Director to help support our launches and evergreen campaigns on the social front. You’ll do this by creating and executing results-driven, lead-generating, and high-converting organic social media campaigns.
- Analytics: Consistent tracking and reporting on social analytics and metrics, as well as making suggestions for improvement based on your findings in these reports.
- PR: Assists with the execution of the company's public relations initiatives, such as promoting guest appearances on podcasts and summits.
- Research: Researching and staying up to speed on new social media marketing strategies and how we can use them to add value to our audience.
- Community Management: Owning community engagement and responding to audience members and customers on social media channels. You’ll do this by posting engaging content, developing relationships, initiating discussion, monitoring comments, answering questions, being highly responsive, and elevating any concerns or arising themes to our customer service team.

About Us:
Jennifer Berson is the Founder & President of Jeneration PR, a 7-figure PR & social media marketing agency owner that supports billion-dollar, publicly-traded brands in the beauty, baby & wellness niches. After working in her agency for more than 10 years, she realized that she had a lot of knowledge to share with others about how to launch, grow & scale a business using the agency model.
Jen recently launched Profitable PR Pros, a secondary business that focuses on providing communications professionals and freelancers with strategic educational content for running a profitable PR agency on their terms, so that they can live a flexible lifestyle and spend more time with their families.
We are looking to hire a Social Media Coordinator to increase the online presence of the Profitable PR Pros brand, so that we can grow our audience and serve more customers, create an active & engaged community of PR professionals, as well as have a consistent voice and presence across all platforms. We are also looking for support with our agency clients and their social media strategy & execution.
